Crafting Exceptional Visual Narratives
I began my career in the early 80s as an assistant cameraman on filmed commercials in Chicago, working on large-budget productions where image quality and high production values were paramount.
In the 90s, I transitioned to a shooter role, working on a wide range of corporate and industrial programs with budgets ranging from high to low, including one-man-band productions. The challenge—and the fun—was in maintaining high production value regardless of the budget, ensuring that image quality always remained top-notch.
Throughout the 90s, I applied a film-style look to broadcast, corporate, and spot work, blending the techniques and visuals of high-end film production with the budget-conscious efficiency needed in today’s fast-paced environment. My editing experience allows me to shoot “for the cut,” ensuring that the production has all the necessary visuals in the editing room.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with a wide range of corporate, broadcast, and commercial clients, including ESPN, NFL Network, HGTV, The Discovery Channel, WGN, WLUP, Arthur Andersen, Price Waterhouse, Allstate, Eckerd, Ameritech, Boston Market, W.W. Grainger, Johnson & Johnson, Ogilvy & Mather, Eisman, Johns & Law, and more.
I’m eager to assist with any of your production or post-production needs.
